What an Interesting world!!!!

We all know slavery was a very barbaric and gruesome Institution. Anyone or Everyone should be against such a gruesome institution. This part is for the Christians, Slavery can actually be traced to the Bible, but we all know it was before that. Most people do not want to talk about the presence of slavery in the bible but when they are confronted directly about it they talk about indentured servitude, which Is the very definition of slavery. They will go on to say that with indentured servitude, there is a time limit to which you release the individual paying off their debt, what they forget to tell you is that if an individual put his freedom in the hands of another individual, he/she is a slave, and it’s up to that individual to make them work more years or release them. Don’t believe me, lets go to one of my favorite people in the bible, Jacob.. when he went to work 7 years for his  wife, his father in law changed the terms at the very last minute, they always leave out this part don’t they ??? Anyone who reads the history of slavery will agree with me that slave masters made promises they never kept, . Another interesting point is that all cultures are guilty of slavery, and no royal families sold their offspring into slavery unless they lost a war. Also, slavery became a lucrative institution. There is a lot I can go into when it comes to slavery but we as a species have come a long way but still have so far to go. As human beings, we should be against slavery wherever it is but sadly slavery is still going on in 2021.
One of the Richest countries in Africa, or used to be one of the richest countries has one of the largest slave markets. One can buy a male slave today for $200.00 at a slave auction in Libya. Oh let me say this most being auctioned are black men!! . Although there is a new name for them, they are called MIGRANTS!!!!

According to Google, these are the types of slavery:

1. Sex Trafficking
2. Child Sex Trafficking
3. Forced Labor
4. Forced Child Labor
5. Bonded Labor or Debt Bondage
6. Domestic Servitude
7. Unlawful Recruitment and Use of Child Soldiers

Makes you think right?
