Remember the lift every voice plan? I mean the plan Joe Biden had for Black America.. remember that ?? whatever happened to that ????? I was assured by everyone who didn’t share the same political view that Joe Biden, the one who wrote the 94 crime Bill (amongst other things) was going to put his plan into action, as soon as he got into office. Some actually said this is a way for him to make amends to the famous 94 crime bill, (which locked up a lot of black men). People were sure this was going to happen.
Looking at the way everything is going I’m not sure this will happen it still remains to be seen. Let’s take a look at the lift every voice plan according to what I read.
- Advance the economic mobility of African Americans and close racial income gaps
- Expand access to high-quality education and tackle racial inequity in our education system
- Make far-reaching investments and end health disparities by race
- Strengthen America’s commitment to justice
- Make the right to vote and the right to equal protection real for African Americans
- Address Environmental justice
These are only to name a few, just reading this I know most of this is pure BS. The man couldn’t even tackle inflation so how does he advance the mobility of African Americans and close income gaps, that will mean giving out a lot more free money which will result in inflation.
What are the far-reaching investments ??? anyone cares to elaborate????
Environmental Justice ???? why doesn’t he start with Flint Michigan? With their water problem. This man wrote the 94 crime bill? Responsible for over-policing, and yet we expect him to somehow change all that???
At least when Trump was in office he said he was willing to look at Ice Cube’s plan, contract with black America, but Old Joe said, we need to wait till after the election, and we still supported him.
Most black people are saying to themselves, that once a racist is out of office we should be ok ,. we have good old Joe who is going to make everything ok.. as black people we are not that politically skilled to make sense of this and demand better things for ourselves, as long as we feel good about something we should be ok… The Democrats like to say hey we like black people, we gave you the first black person, first black female black (whenever she wants to be) or should I say a woman of color, and we are about to give you the first black woman supreme court judge, we make you feel good, you should be happy. Republicans say we ain’t giving you nothing we are keeping everything for ourselves, the democrats say the same thing but they wrap it up in a “feel good” event. We shouldn’t trust our politicians but yet we do.
Now the main reason I wrote this piece is that I’m telling black people that they are going to tell us to wait…. why because they are bringing 100,000 Ukrainians over here, on our tax dime (don’t forget April 15th) here is the problem with that,
- They sent Haitians home, and they did that in style, by sending guards on horseback, people trying to escape economic oppression. Everyone said that look like slavery
- You know the Ukrainians come first right ????? somehow their oppression is far more important than others who just happen to belong to a different racial group of course I’m sure that is all a coincidence.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the reason he even chose a name like that is because of our inclination to religion!!!! , still didn’t make us stop and think and go wait a min. The fact that he called it ” The lift every voice plan” is an insult.
Ok, black people let us tell ourselves before someone else says it, 4 years is not that far ….
