Should we punish men? Should all women be believed?

Should all women be believed??? There is the belief that women do not lie, especially when it comes to victimhood, I have a few stories to tell so let us take a look.

There was an incident that happened in 1989 and it sheds light on a few things that we don’t like to talk about. It is about how the justice system is unfair when it comes to men.  Let me say this. I think race has something to do with both cases but there is a hidden problem that no one wants to acknowledge. In this era of “me too” I think the best time to talk about this is now. I also think every black child should be taught how to respond to the Police.

In 1989, 5 young men (Antron McCray, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Korey Wise) were accused of rape and sexual assault of a woman, a crime they didn’t commit.  These were teenagers, they were put under intense psychological pressure to confess or sign a confession.  I would like to point out that as parents we teach our children how to respond to strangers, just in case of kidnap at their school, etc. Yet we don’t teach them as teenagers how to respond to the police., or what to say when they get arrested. What made this case worse was that these young men were not given the right to a lawyer, not that I think lawyers would have made a difference, but they lost that right at the police station, one of the parents of these teenagers, actually told his son to confess which he did.  In other words, all 5 teenagers confessed to the crime, which they shouldn’t have done, but did because of the psychological tactics employed by the police.  If we were to be truthful a lot of people (mostly black) thought those teenagers were guilty. The whole interrogation was illegal. As I already stated, I think race played a part in this, but this wasn’t evidence of systemic racism, if this is evidence of systemic racism then we have a president who has done something about it by signing into law the First Step ACT.

NYPD should be ashamed of themselves and the team who worked on this case should have been fired for how they handled this case. They should be prosecuted for breaking the law to get a confession. Now let us go to another story with a different twist.

In 2006 there was a case popularly known as The Duke Lacrosse case of 2006. 3 white boys who were members of the Duke Lacrosse team were falsely accused of rape did I already say these men were all white. David Evans, Collin Finnerty, and Reade Seligmann were accused by a black female by the name Crystal Magnum. In this case like the last one, everyone thought these teenagers were guilty, and of course, this became about race. Both cases were thrown out for a lack of DNA evidence.

Duke Lacrosse Team

Let us look at what these two cases have in common, in both cases, young men were accused of crimes they did not commit, we had white boys who were accused by a black woman and we had black and Latino boys who were accused by a white woman of crimes they did not commit. In this era of “me too” why are we not asking certain questions, like how women could get away with accusing these boys of these nasty crimes and nothing happens to accusers. With the Magnum lady, she is in jail right now for something different, she tried to stab her boyfriend and she was charged with attempted murder. So I ask the question again, should all women be believed even if there is no evidence?????

One politician who said women should be believed before an investigation is getting a taste of his own medicine. His name is Joe Biden, and he is running for president.  One of the most outspoken women of the “me too” movement Asia Argento was accused of sexually assaulting her 17-year-old co-star, she reached a deal with his lawyers to pay him $380,000.00.

How is it that women can get away with this but men aren’t given the same “pass”?   teenage boys regardless of race being accused of something they did not do, a lot of people failed to see that the common denominator in both cases were women. In this me-too era, this should have made headline news, we are becoming such an unfair society, no one wants to talk about what men face.

I like to share an interesting statistic, this blew my mind when I saw it,  if I mention the word RAPE, most people will automatically think women right ???? but then if you factor in what goes on in the prison system,  and there are more men in jail than women, then you begin to think ?? is it true that most rape victims are women???  No one cares about people in jail though which are mostly men but I’m sure someone somewhere will say they deserved it if this is really the case

  • There are more homeless men than women
  • Men pay over 70% of income taxes yet most programs in social services are for women
  • over 60% of the homeless are men
  • Men get longer sentences for the same crime
  • Over 40% of men are domestic abuse victims

These are just a few of the statistics I found doing my research,  untold stories!!
