Do you feel any different?? This is a very important question that needs to be asked, it is very interesting that after the first 100 days most people will say they don’t feel any different, We got a few “stimulus” dollars but that is about it. Well, when it comes to politicians you know where I stand not to mention the recent political climate, powerful enough to tear families apart and end friendships. The funny thing about all this is that people like to use the line “Agree to disagree” but they mean something different. I know for sure that No Politician can make anyone who they are, it is through our own effort that we will succeed in life, yet still every 4 years, we will go and vote these politicians listen to their vague promises, and yet none of these promises are fulfilled. For those who know my political affiliation, people will call me a sore loser but yet can’t tell us if they feel any different. We have to hold these politicians accountable, because they over-promise, for those who think that when Biden takes a “black” woman to the white house as vice president, things will be alright…Well let us look at what has happened so far, Derek Chauvin the Police officer who was responsible for George Floyd’s death has been found guilty on all charges, Well as some of my friends have said, that was good that he got the guilty verdict, yet we are still waiting for the George Floyd Policing ACT, something that could easily be done with a stroke of a pen, an executive order. If most people agree that this was wrong, then most people should be on board, no one will object if the president uses executive privileges on this.
We still have a few years to go before this presidency is over, I will say let us wait to see what will happen, I’m still waiting for the “lift every voice ” plan. if you ask me that should have been done within the first 100 days. My brothers and sisters, we are in a pandemic, but we cannot blame the pandemic for poverty and problems that were already here. Now Joe Biden is talking about a 4 trillion dollar plan, well let us see what this is. I don’t know about anyone, but as I have done all my life I’m going to stay politically aware, for those who will ask, I didn’t feel any different after Trump’s first 100 days, but too many times are people caught up in superstardom but still blame systemic racism, ( the irony) one is a personality and the other is a system, for all we know, it could be a black man who designed a system like that. My brothers and sisters, I like free-thinking and because of that, I will end with this, ” Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect” Mark Twain.
