Jesus was a psychoanalyst!

I thought I dive into the spiritual for a few reasons, or should I say religious because every religion has its spiritual side, this isn’t a religious piece, but an analogy about human nature and a look at some common stories from another point of view or a different angle. Human psychology is very interesting, one has to ask the question about self-awareness vs what we do intentionally. Anyone who has been through a “break up” or has had their heart broken before by someone they loved one, be it parents, children, or a   significant other can tell you how painful it is, whether it makes you a better person after the event is anyone’s guess.  Buddhists believe that is life is about suffering. I think on a fundamental level we all believe that to an extent, take Horatio Spafford, the writer of one of the most influential hymns of our time. (it is well with my soul)  He wrote those words after he got news about his family. It was one of the biggest tragedies in his lifetime, He just lost his children in a shipwreck. 

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.

 

Anyone who has read the bible would attribute most of it to miracles and to what GOD  does. Nothing about Human nature. No one really looks at the psychological aspects of the bible. We all have the animalistic parts of our brains. This part is usually about survival, funny enough we are not self-aware about that part.  We are so blinded by it that we deny it even if it is revealed to us. We still act like we did when we were cavemen.

     If Christ was who they say he was, imagine having intimate knowledge about human psychology. Most of us wouldn’t want to be burdened with that dark knowledge. Sigmund Freud who is regarded as the father of psychoanalysis found out about human behavior and instincts,  he lost all trust in humans and humankind. He retreated from society, I ask the question,  I wonder what he found out…. whatever it was must have been so scary that he had to retreat from society.

Take the story of JESUS for example, I would like to bring everyone’s attention to his denial by one of his most trusted disciples,  what we don’t get about that situation is that JESUS CHRIST has become public enemy number one, so anyone that associates with him might be put to death or jail, or both. Peter was doing exactly what all of us would have done, he said he would stick by Jesus’ side till the end but denied him the first chance he got.  Jesus with a little supernatural ability accurately predicted Peter’s denial, note that he didn’t predict anything extraordinary he only predicted” HUMAN NATURE”. The same situation with the triumphant entry,  HOSANNA! This is where Jesus Predicted how people will change to suit the time.  Ask yourself how does Hosanna change to Crucify him in a few days ???? Another accurate prediction of human nature and he did not have to use any of his supernatural abilities. Funny this lesson from the bible actually teaches us to watch what people do, and ignore what they say, and who can say anything is authentic TIME… . time the judge of all things, it is time that judges if we are loyal and faithful if love is really true. 

      My brothers and sisters, anyone who has gone through heartbreak remembers the wonderful things they were told by the person who broke their hearts. It is like night and day………

We as a people do not deal with human nature, that in itself is hypocrisy. The reason people don’t understand the wise is that they have figured out how horrible human beings can be, and are able to predict with certainty what people will do consciously and unconsciously.
