I would like to ask a question, Dear reader, (assuming you are black) Look at the featured images, who would you say was the best president ? who would you rather see leading this country,? Who would you say makes you feel good????. I’m sure a lot of black people will say, Mr. Barack Obama, followed by Bill Clinton, maybe George W Bush because he like President Obama and his family, followed by the father of George W Bush, George HW Bush. I don’t see a lot of people liking Trump based on feelings alone.
There is a saying that goes like this “Action speaks louder than words” So to judge any politician we have to look at their deeds, and their action not listen to what they say, usually what they say is useless rhetoric. Sometimes we like what they say sometimes we don’t. Too often we like to judge people based on how we feel about them, not their action and that is very problematic. Most people (especially black) can be moved one way or the other emotionally. A lot of people talk about systemic racism, we are made to believe that the wealth gap is evidence of systemic racism, the numbers make it easy to believe something like this exists.
The black population is still 13% yet have only 2.7% of the wealth in the USA
Median Networth of the average white family is $134,000.00 as compared to $11,000.00 of the average black family, Median Wealth of the single white woman is $41,000.00 as compared to the black woman which is $120.00
we just know that white households make more money than black households, No one ever bothers to tell us why that is, the factors contribute to this, and moreover what economic steps to take to be in a better position of wealth, none of this ever happens, These numbers are thrown in our faces and then told someone is responsible for this, and then all we do is talk about it, no collective action.
Let us look at the squeaky clean president Obama, ( who because of Trump can do no wrong).
Right now the argument is President Donald Trump is racist and he doesn’t talk about white supremacist groups, well the funny thing is President Obama didn’t do that either, I wonder why black people don’t give Trump the same pass, because the best person to talk about this is President Obama, One of President Obama’s mentors was known to be a KKK member, even Wikipedia said this. President Obama gave a Eulogy at his funeral and said very good things about him, He called him a “dear friend” it is interesting that the first black president said a lot of good things about a known KKK member, yet the black community was and is silent on this.
Depending on who you ask, President Obama and Candidate Obama were two different people, although he still gets a pass just for being black, that his hands were tied so he couldn’t do what he had to do for black people. No matter what he does he still enjoyed a very high approval rating within African Americans, although some were disappointed, he kept getting the pass in the black community.
He did talk about fatherlessness in the black community, even though he uses the fact that his mom was a single mother, which is not all the way true, his dad died when he was young so he did know his father. His own party and his own vice president contributed to fatherlessness in black America, how ??? The 1994 Crime Bill. The bill locked up black people in historical numbers. Joe Biden helped write the crime bill of 1994, This is who President Obama chose as a vice president, yet he doesn’t get the same scrutiny like President Trump did if you look at his actions and look at President Trump’s action, which one seems more racist??? fun fact, Joe Biden was against the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the supreme court. Isn’t that interesting ??? Joe Biden praised people Strom Thurmond and mentioned names like Senator James O. Eastland, both of these men were Democrats and outspoken racists. Well, a quick google search will tell anyone who this man is, he was an outspoken racist who believed that the white race is superior, funny how no one asked President Obama why he would choose such a man to be his vice president,
I don’t know how many people know about the story of Troy Davis, a black man who was put on death row. He was on death row for a long time. His case needed to be reopened because all the witnesses changed their story, Troy’s family fought tooth and nail to have his case reopened, that didn’t happen, they pleaded, with the president, President Barack Obama, to at least say something about that case, black men wrongly convicted for a crime they didn’t commit is too common in the system, one would think that the first black president, democrat or republican would understand this., but nope. Even the European Union and other international organizations made statements, but Mr. Obama didn’t do anything, in fact, he refused to do anything, on September 21, 2011, Troy Davis was executed in the state of Georgia. I wonder if anyone would compare this case to the Central Park 5 case?? The next situation goes to banking, the Glass-Steagall ACT of the 1930s which was meant to separate commercial banking and investment banking was repealed in 1999, it was done so by president Bill Clinton, giving a free pass to the bank, not even President Bush did this but he did, however, start the whole bail bank bailout, and then it was effectively continued by President Obama. Oh don’t get me wrong republicans have some laws that don’t benefit black people either, My thing is this how is it that we can give someone a pass because he is black, or he played the saxophone on TV, or he let Maya Angelou recite poems at his inauguration? we let someone who has been pushing racist laws for all his life become a vice president to the first black president, why are we not asking these questions, we didn’t ask them then and we are not asking them now.
There is something that Joe Biden said back when Barack Obama was running for president, and I still wonder today how he got a pass from Obama himself, he said “ First mainstream African American who is articulate and bright, nice looking guy, I mean that is storybook” Joe Biden just told us he doesn’t know of any black people who sounded like Barack Obama and looked like him, and this man actually wants the black vote????
Let us look how much democrats are really for the people so they can actually relate to “us” the people who have nothing and can’t pay our bills
- Barack Obama- $70 Million
- Hillary Clinton-$120 Million
- Elizabeth Warren- 12 Million
- Michael Bennet-$15 Million
- John Delaney -$200 Million
- Joe Biden- 9 $Million
- Kamala Harris-$6 Million
- Beto O’Rourke -$4 Million
- Bernie Sanders $2.5 Million
- Amy Klobuchar $2 Million
- Marianne Williamson-$1.5 Million
- Michael Bloomberg-$ 58.6 Billion
- Tom Seyer -$1.6 Billion
- Cory Booker -$1.5 Million
- Andrew Yang $1 Million
Then, of course, we have those who haven’t made it to the million-dollar club yet
- Tulsi Gabbard $500,000
- Tim Ryan $500,000
- Pete Buttigieg -$100,000
The poorest one of them is making more than the average black man, yet all these politicians say they are for the people. Amazing!!!!
