The funny thing about this is that the so-called protest destroyed a lot of poor neighborhoods,  black people say we don’t have money yet we destroy our neighborhoods. Let me show you how someone else benefits from this. First, they destroy the neighborhoods like the wendy’s that was burnt down,  so a few people had just lost their jobs.  second, we talk about defunding the police,  well because of the backlash that the police gets,  most of them will step back and stop policing poor neighborhoods, rich neighborhoods are gated. The very people who say defund the police, are the once who are going to suffer the most, the rich who talk for us, don’t live like us. Automatically, crime goes up, after all, no police would want to be called racist so they won’t go into those neighborhoods. Crime goes up, bringing the value of that neighborhood down, very soon someone will buy out the whole neighborhood and gentrify the whole neighborhood , your state governor or mayor won’t say NO, to moneyour especially if it’s cash. They will buy it for pennies on the dollar. As stated before, we just gentrified our own neighborhoods FOR FREE. Does anyone  really think defunding the Police is still a good idea?

As a society, we need people to make it function, this brings me to planned Parenthood set up in our neighborhoods.  Planned parenthood is systematically placed in low-income neighborhoods,  low income neighborhoods are synonymous with black neighborhoods. Let me say this, No one has killed more black people than us black people. Homicides, drugs, the prison system, KKK, not even black on black crime, (ahh I guess abortion is a form of black on black crime). All of these groups couldn’t kill us like we have killed us.

Black people used to be 15% of the population, due to abortion, we are now 13% of the population. Black women abort more babies than any other race in America.  It is funny when they want to sell the idea of killing our own babies they call it reproductive health. Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion.  it is strange that planned parenthood turned down federal funds,  one may ask why because it needs all the money it can get, especially since they say it is doing a lot of good in the neighborhoods. They even said because “they” have refused federal funds a lot of low-income women will go without “care” Its number one client according to racial groups are black women. The truth is they turned out federal funds because the money came with restrictions on abortions, for them if they couldn’t provide the one thing that they were invented for, they will just not take the money, and if it was true that they were there for other “reproductive” health  Like they say, they still would have taken the money.

Magaret Sanger

Let us look at the intentions of the founder of planned parenthood,. Founder of planned parenthood is Margaret Sanger, she was born September 14th, 1879 in NY, and died September 6th, 1966, A few of her words

  1. ” A free race cannot be born by slave mothers, ‘ ( she called black women slave mothers)”
  2. ” Birth Control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race”
  3.  ” We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the negro” ( in her letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble)

She accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the KKK  and she said  when she started speaking she felt like she accomplished her purpose

  1. Eugenics without birth control seems to us a house build on sand it is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit.
Hillary Clinton

She was admired by our beloved Hillary Clinton. She even received an award from planned parenthood, and these were her remarks

“Now, I have to tell you that it was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision … And when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her.”- Hillary Clinton

Our lives should matter to us, from birth to death. Its funny 80% of planned parenthood establishments are in black neighborhood,  if blacks are just 13% of the population( which includes men), this means black women are less, how is it that we are responsible for approximately 37% all abortions in the united STATES??

The Hypocrisy!! https://selfequanimity.com/the-hypocrisy/ https://selfequanimity.com/the-hypocrisy/#respond Sat, 06 Jun 2020 06:16:43 +0000 http://selfequanimity.com/?p=476 it is so wonderful to see all this, it is a great time to be alive and witness all this, the outpouring of love, caring, and support. Protesting in every sate.  This whole thing has become international because of social media. People are almost unanimous about voicing concerns and frustrations.  Looting is still going on, People expressing their anger, the name George Floyd is now everywhere, it is now a household name, never mind that most people did not know who he was before all this, In his death, it is almost as if he is enjoying a rock star status.    All this was almost instantaneous, sympathy from the masses. Everywhere you go it is Black lives matter. We have white guilt in full swing, you know the part of white people who are forced to pretend to care when they shouldn’t even have to pretend?, and yes that is what it is, pretense. VERY strange how no one cared about what happened to black people before now.  Black people have been in America for a long time and were dying before this. All of a sudden we have this great outpour of concern. We are told it is frustration about injustice and inequality.  Also strange how all these things were going on before, sometimes, simultaneously. Strangely enough, some have blamed Trump already, ( the useful idiot who they can blame for anything that goes wrong ). Funny thing, these things happen, then we protested, then the money starts pouring in, then everything dies down till it happens again. Oh, who can forget the celebrities who are rightfully outraged by what is happening, or what their publicists have told them you know the ones who know what to say and how to say it just to add the sensationalism going on. Call me any name you want, in fact, I welcome it, but no one is crying about the hypocrisy that we see. Suddenly everyone is so concerned about black people,  If you were to ask me, Protestors aren’t really doing it for George Floyd or the injustice, or inequality, or the killing of unarmed black men. It is really about virtue signaling,  and the feeling of importance, some are doing it so they can get free “stuff”, some a chance to turn up for just that sake, but believe me it has nothing to do with George  Floyd and how he died, some time to come I’m sure they can safely say they did “something”.

David Dorn

I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt, with one question, where is the protest for David Dorn.?   David Dorn was a retired Police officer, a captain who was shot after responding to a pawnshop alarm. He was an officer for 38 years. David Dorn was 77 years old, oh he was shot by a black man. Where is the protest for him.??? Black lives matter but only to everyone else but black people. Back to our celebrities, they always know when to weigh in don’t they? they know when to throw money around.  They know how to express their fake outrage at people they would never meet or know or even care about,  then they come to protests with bodyguards and return to their gated communities to feel safe.  BLACK ON BLACK CRIME IS just swept under the rug. We can kill each other all day long.

Philando Castile

Again it is almost as if this is about something else. If all this was fair then someone tells me what happened here. Oh before I mention that, let us not forget about the COVID 19 which is now killing black people more than any other race,  I have to ask, where are the protests for that, Hello??? celebrities????  Amazing how the narrative jumps around !!!

Back to the story, a white woman by the name of Justine Damond was shot by a black police officer in the same city in Minneapolis after she called the Police because she saw a woman being assaulted. Mind you this happened right after Philando Castile a black man who was fatally shot by a white Police officer. If this was really about Police Brutality, then there should have been a protest against the police. Although the officer was found guilty and sentenced to 12 years in prison. No one did anything, no protests, nothing!

No one deserves to die, especially by some else’s negligence, but if BLACK lives matter, it should matter ALL the time not sometimes . and if we are talking about Police Brutality we should talk about it in terms of ALL lives, ALL the time. Did anyone notice, the word Brutality doesn’t have a race attached to it ???

Decision 2020 https://selfequanimity.com/decision-2020/ https://selfequanimity.com/decision-2020/#respond Tue, 26 May 2020 06:53:22 +0000 http://selfequanimity.com/?p=428 Who are you going to vote for this year ??  Biden or Trump???

What do you think of Trump’s first 3 years in office?  Do you still hold the same view of him ?? Do you think Biden would do a better job than Trump?? These are questions that need to be asked. I’m sure everyone heard the recent comment by Joe Biden, “ you ain’t black”, I want to ask a question when it comes to black people why is it that they like to solicit the help of entertainers, it is almost as if they believe that entertainers speak for black people.  They pretend they are comfortable with black people and then they end up making a fool of themselves.

Fun Fact, I have never heard Trump change his accent when he is around black people, we just heard Joe Biden do it, we have seen Barack Obama do it, we have seen Hillary Clinton do it. They call it “ coming down to our level”

The interesting thing about Trump, he has always been around Black entertainers, even when he was a businessman before he became a politician

Maybe that is why he signed into law, “The Music Modernization ACT. ( doing something to help the music industry) Even our first black president who is supposed to have “soul” didn’t do it, and we all know black entertainers are usually the ones who get the short end of the stick.  Black people we talk about culture and music, yet our very first black president did not do anything to protect black music.

Black people complain about systematic racism now let us see where our vice president, for 8 years to the first black president stands on issues that concern black people.

Let me start by one of the hottest topics today, reparations, what does Joe Biden think of reparations, this is what he said  “I do not buy the concept,  ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race. I don’t buy that. He added, “I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”

Well, it couldn’t be more clear, he doesn’t support it !!!!

What does he think when it comes to black people?? “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”  almost as if he has never seen an educated black man before at the same time was against the nomination of Clarence Thomas.

The most racist bill against young black men was ( in my opinion) the 94 crime bill which was co-written by Joe Biden, even Bill Clinton had to apologize for it.

The funny thing is that these entertainers had more in common with Trump than any Democrat especially when they even learned about business from him

KRS-One
KRS-One

This is what KRS-One said sometime back, ( an old school rapper)  “Trump is a friend of Hip hop, back in the day I was the richest nigga in my hood, they called me Donald Trump”

Another one is Russell Simmons, who was his mentor ??? yep you guessed it, Donald Trump,  he complimented Donald Trump by affectionately calling him “Nigga” Trump, however, said this is the worse thing anyone has ever said to him, and he asked “why would you say a thing like that” Simmons, however, said to him, the greatest thing he could ever say about anybody.

Donald Trump , Russell Simmons & Andre Harrell
Donald Trump, Russell Simmons & Andre Harrell

Trump taught Simmons a lot about business, he said himself, “maybe too much”

You know it is interesting that even when he was a businessman, he helped and mentored black people, for those who don’t know, the most successful artist today were directly or indirectly influenced by Russell Simmons, Sean Combs, AKA P Diddy said so himself, followed by Sean Carter, also known as Jay Z. Biden is looking more racist to me.

According to Mr. Joe Biden, he voted to extend the voting rights act 25 more years,  interesting isn’t’ it … and no one is asking him why isn’t the voting rights act permanent, Oh better still no one asked the first black president, why the voting rights act isn’t permanent, a few things caught the attention of people, especially about that comment  “ you ain’t black”, for those who don’t know the 15th amendment wasn’ t enough the voting rights act sealed the deal,  and yet it is always temporary. He is telling you and me that we as black people cannot have a permanent right to vote, it should be kept temporary!!.

I’m not telling anyone how to vote, these stories have to be told !!

Why are black people considered “sellouts” when they vote republican or are republicans. https://selfequanimity.com/why-are-black-people-considered-sell-outs-when-they-vote-republican-or-are-republicans/ https://selfequanimity.com/why-are-black-people-considered-sell-outs-when-they-vote-republican-or-are-republicans/#respond Thu, 23 Apr 2020 04:49:57 +0000 http://selfequanimity.com/?p=125 If you are any other race but white, it is normally assumed that you are a Democrat, no one cares to ask why it is just that. If you want to know why, you are almost always told that democrat is for the poor man, or for the people and Republicans are for the rich. The funny thing is that ( depending on what race you are) this sometimes is believable, until you take a closer look.

Let us pick a race other than the “white” race, in this case, the black race or the African-American race. Most black people are democrats, simply because of that widely held belief about the common man and poverty, so by default blacks already view themselves as poor. This is what the democratic party claims to stand for or do they????

Most people, (black people) either don’t know the history or ignore history or don’t question the history or what they have been told, they just go along with what is heard., most black people don’t do research or empirical analysis on why these things became what they are. In history, most black people were republican simply because it was the party of emancipation, which most people conveniently forget today. Emancipation is directly tied to the end of slavery. I think the question is to ask what happened and how most blacks became Democrats in the first place.

First-Black-Senators-and-Representatives-41-and-42-Congress

To understand this we must go back to the ’60s, we will go back further, but we will start there. It has everything to do with “struggle” class struggle, economic struggle, and if I may say so racial struggle. The War on Poverty was started in the ’60s in this endless war that was created by Lyndon B Johnson. Out of the war on poverty came the “ The Great Society”. The great society is a bunch of economic policies that were all federally funded of course, in the hopes of ending poverty. It created a lot of incentives, some of which ultimately destroyed the family structure. From that something I like to call the FREE money (stuff) Syndrome was created. The democratic party in the 60s became the party that gave out “freebies”. what most people are failing to understand is that Parties don’t matter, policies do, if someone is selling a party, they ultimately asking you to stop thinking and just go along to get along, which is wrong. Every president is always proud that they have solved a problem with people from both parties, yet we still cling to parties. Policies come from people, with an agenda, we know this, since we all have a personal agenda, when we make decisions. This is a very simple concept and I think most of people do miss that. I say all this to say that, with all this free “stuff” came with conditions which most people don’t care about. As long as they get free “stuff” well then the party is for the poor. The sad thing is that the democratic party wrote the blueprint of dependency. (along with some republicans I might add and this is just being fair)A drug dealer knows this very well, he/she has to create some kind of dependency to create a market of people who will always follow him/her. I don’t think most people have come to grasp the concept that no poverty program has made people rich. Poverty programs by their very design are to have a dependency “class”. One must be disciplined in life if they want to get somewhere, and all discipline is behavior modification, Sadly so is being undisciplined. Now we can slowly talk about culture. I have always defined culture as something that tells us what to do, a set of principles, we also forget that as individuals we have what I call personal culture, and that is what brings me to the fundamental philosophy of the republican party. The republican party believes in the self-made individual. The one who can stand on his/her own two feet and make something of themselves. This is why most black advancements were in the times when a lot of black people were republicans. Now it is almost laughable when a black person is a republican and they are called a lot of names, the sad thing there are racist on both sides, and black people, in general, don’t see policies anymore, they rather have their emotional attachment to a brand or a party.

Jesse Owen

Now black people need to attach themselves to a party based on ideology and fundamental philosophy, then one must look at the republican party after everyone knows that the republican party was the party that freed the slaves, even though that wasn’t the reason for the proclamation. That was done in other interests, one of my main advice is no to look for “love” within an organization because, and organization would do what is best for its survival nothing else. Today it seems that Is what people look for. Let us go to the have a little history lesson just for this blog

The democratic party was responsible for the formation of the Klu Klux Klan, (KKK). It was founded by a man named Nathan Bedford Forrest also a confederate general, speaking of the confederacy, also a man by the name of Oliver Howard, who was a republican and also a confederate general played a key role in establishing the university known as Howard University, an HBCU( Historical Black College and University). The democratic party also supported segregation throughout the south. The first black senator and congressman were sworn in by a republican named Calvin Coolidge. He stated “rights of blacks are just as sacred as any other citizen”  The democratic party has always defended slavery just to throw that out there. Just a few individuals who were republicans unknown to many,

Frederick Douglas

1. Ida B Wells also known as Ida B Wells-Barnett

2. Berry Gordy Jnr, ( Motown Records)

3. Jessie Owens

4. Frederick Douglas

5. Scott Turner

Ida B Wells

Just to name a few but this is about why one is a coon for being republican when some of the freedoms black people enjoy today came from the Republican Party. oh, the irony!!

I don’t know how common this name is amongst black people even though I think it should be, an individual by the name of Roger B Taney, who was a Democrat who wrote the famous Dred Scott decision. Taney was chief justice at that time. He said black people could not sue for anything in the court of law because they were not citizens. One of the people on my list is Jessie Owens, for those who don’t know Jessie, he was an athlete who made Olympic history and yet wasn’t invited to the white house upon his return to the US, who was president then?, it was Franklin Delano Roosevelt, also known as FDR. FDR(A democrat) only invite white winners to the white house.

Berry Gordy

One begs to ask the question, How many mistakes can a political party make?? According to some researchers, this was a direct quote from President Lyndon Johns

“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got.

something now they never had before, the political pull back to uppityness. Now we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference” LBJ

Side Note: Ida B Wells refused to give up her bus seat, 77 years before Rosa Park yet you don’t hear about this

Another Democratic senator who not only believed in slavery but also thought it was a very good idea, was senator John Calhoun, bet you don’t hear the Democrats talk about him, do you??

There was also a famous senator by the name of Robert Byrd who again was a democrat and a mentor to our first black president, Mr. Barack Obama, also a mentor to Hillary Clinton. Oh, he never apologized for all the atrocities committed by the democratic party.

Senator Robert Byrd

There is a lot to write about this, at the end of it all, black people should go by policies and not align with any party. Black people have automatically voted democrat for too long and not even know why they are doing it. I hope anyone who reads this will at least agree to it that most policies of the democratic party were and still are racist.

Oh before I forget, President Donald Trump wanted to nominate Herman Cain to the Federal Reserve Board, but Herman Cain turned it down, for those who don’t know, Herman Cain was a presidential candidate and a republican for those who don’t know again, he was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas and was a ballistic analyst for the US Department of the Navy. He may not know politics but he is a pretty smart guy don’t you think ?? First of all, he was going to nominate a black man to one of the most important positions in the country, how does a racist man do that when he doesn’t have to?

Herman Cain

To finish this, has anyone heard of the “First Step ACT of 2018? under this act which was signed into law by President Trump, 3100 inmates will be free, I don’t need to tell you that most people who are locked up are of a particular race, can you get what race they are ? or before I forget, as much as black people talk about the unfairness of the music industry, one would think that they will at least say, even if we don’t like President Trump, he did something to support the music industry, he signed the Music Modernization ACT which was signed into law in 2018, for those who don’t know he ensures that songwriters are paid when their songs are played on streaming services. You can guess what was happening before that.

Everyone went mad that President Trump wanted a wall,   and we couldn’t get enough of that topic in the news, the problem with this is, either people have a very short memory or they are very oblivious to this or deal with politics based on emotions, Has anyone read the secure Fence ACT of 2006? Well in short President Obama and Senator Clinton among other democrats, wanted a wall too…… interesting isn’t it

Lastly, Trump called for more funding for HBCUs,  funny he is Republican, and he is white, I can understand why black people were Republican In the early days!
