(That is the way I see it)  Let us look at the politics of the whole situation. First of all, this is a draft OPINION. What is the keyword over there, “OPINION”. This means it wasn’t a decision it was an opinion and secondly it wasn’t calling for a ban, it would give the decision to the states to do what they want to do.  Now we see all sorts of protests, they have a right to do that.  There were protests on mothers day, how can anyone rationalize mother’s day and abortion? But it happened!!! To finish this article  I just like to say this.

To make a baby, it takes some sort of fusion to create a baby, male and female, (man and woman) come together, nature will take its course and a baby is created. So I don’t really think it is healthy for men and women to be against each other. Here is a scenario and a solution, let’s say a woman gets pregnant and she decides to keep the baby but her man doesn’t want that baby, my suggestion would be they should talk to someone, a clergyman, a psychiatrist, an elder,  someone, cause it took 2 of them to make that baby, anyone who talk to the couple should mention the most important aspect of today’s world which are finances!!!!!!!. we seem to forget that part and think that somehow that part will fall into place. The woman shouldn’t be saying well it’s my body, so I can either abort it, or keep it, and you would just have to live with that choice!!!  I don’t think that is fair, I think we go with the “my body, my choice theory, then she should live with every consequence of her decision,  no child support if she decided to have it, and the man shouldn’t be made to pay for the abortion,  if it took the two to make it, they can work out their differences, isn’t life all about compromise and coming to an agreement, ???  I think this is a big distraction!!!

Another thing that people haven’t taken into consideration is that, if the economy is bad, people can’t afford babies !!!!     therefore abortions will be higher.  The child support system, abortions, raising children, and future planning. The economy is at the center of all this, yet no one is talking about that!!!

Where was the love for this black man ? is this a case of Police Brutality?? http://selfequanimity.com/where-was-the-love-for-this-black-man-is-this-a-case-of-police-brutality/ http://selfequanimity.com/where-was-the-love-for-this-black-man-is-this-a-case-of-police-brutality/#respond Fri, 05 Jun 2020 05:52:12 +0000 http://selfequanimity.com/?p=443 Black Lives Matter???  Where is the love for this black man?? Very interesting Story

I’m asking this question again, should women be believed without investigation?? or evidence,??  I’m about to tell you a very tragic but interesting story.  This happened in Minneapolis, ( Same place where George Floyd died) There was an individual named Quincy Smith. Mr. Smith lost his life in December of 2008.

Quincy Smith

According to Smith’s mother, Betty Smith, her son Mr. Smith had gone to visit his girlfriend, except this, wasn’t just an ordinary visit, he had gone there to break up with her. Apparently the girl was so upset, determined to punish Mr. Smith for breaking up with her, she called the police and told them that Mr. Smith came to her house with a rifle. The police went to the home, responding to the call, when they got there they attempted to neutralize the threat by asking Smith to lay on the ground, Mr. Smith refused and ran, so the police chased him down and beat him. Mr. Smith died while being transported to the hospital. An interesting thing about this story is Everyone has forgotten about the lie that took the life of Mr. Quincy Smith. The lie the woman told that started this in the first place. Instead, they chose to blame the Police for responding to the call and applying deadly force to Mr. Smith.

Betty Smith

The question is, is this a case of Police Brutality????? or just one scorned woman who attempted to use the system to punish a man?? Especially when police brutality is a real thing, we should all be careful what we say, especially women. There was a lawsuit filed against the arresting officers, but to date, I haven’t read about anything done to the woman who lied, a lie that was very fatal for Mr. Quincy Smith.

The Police were wrong to beat an individual to death, especially when they found out that he didn’t have a gun, but let us not forget that the police wouldn’t even have been there in the first place if this woman had not told that lie. We need to think about this,

I think no one should get away with a lie like that ….. This is a lie that took a father away from his son.

Quincy Smith Jnr

So I ask again should women be believed without evidence of an investigation?  Are women always victims?

Should we punish men? Should all women be believed? http://selfequanimity.com/should-we-punish-men-should-all-women-be-believed/ http://selfequanimity.com/should-we-punish-men-should-all-women-be-believed/#respond Sun, 17 May 2020 06:08:43 +0000 http://selfequanimity.com/?p=371 Should all women be believed??? There is the belief that women do not lie, especially when it comes to victimhood, I have a few stories to tell so let us take a look.

There was an incident that happened in 1989 and it sheds light on a few things that we don’t like to talk about. It is about how the justice system is unfair when it comes to men.  Let me say this. I think race has something to do with both cases but there is a hidden problem that no one wants to acknowledge. In this era of “me too” I think the best time to talk about this is now. I also think every black child should be taught how to respond to the Police.

In 1989, 5 young men (Antron McCray, Raymond Santana, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Korey Wise) were accused of rape and sexual assault of a woman, a crime they didn’t commit.  These were teenagers, they were put under intense psychological pressure to confess or sign a confession.  I would like to point out that as parents we teach our children how to respond to strangers, just in case of kidnap at their school, etc. Yet we don’t teach them as teenagers how to respond to the police., or what to say when they get arrested. What made this case worse was that these young men were not given the right to a lawyer, not that I think lawyers would have made a difference, but they lost that right at the police station, one of the parents of these teenagers, actually told his son to confess which he did.  In other words, all 5 teenagers confessed to the crime, which they shouldn’t have done, but did because of the psychological tactics employed by the police.  If we were to be truthful a lot of people (mostly black) thought those teenagers were guilty. The whole interrogation was illegal. As I already stated, I think race played a part in this, but this wasn’t evidence of systemic racism, if this is evidence of systemic racism then we have a president who has done something about it by signing into law the First Step ACT.

Central Park 5

NYPD should be ashamed of themselves and the team who worked on this case should have been fired for how they handled this case. They should be prosecuted for breaking the law to get a confession. Now let us go to another story with a different twist.

Central Park 5

In 2006 there was a case popularly known as The Duke Lacrosse case of 2006. 3 white boys who were members of the Duke Lacrosse team were falsely accused of rape did I already say these men were all white. David Evans, Collin Finnerty, and Reade Seligmann were accused by a black female by the name Crystal Magnum. In this case like the last one, everyone thought these teenagers were guilty, and of course, this became about race. Both cases were thrown out for a lack of DNA evidence.

Duke Lacrosse Team

Let us look at what these two cases have in common, in both cases, young men were accused of crimes they did not commit, we had white boys who were accused by a black woman and we had black and Latino boys who were accused by a white woman of crimes they did not commit. In this era of “me too” why are we not asking certain questions, like how women could get away with accusing these boys of these nasty crimes and nothing happens to accusers. With the Magnum lady, she is in jail right now for something different, she tried to stab her boyfriend and she was charged with attempted murder. So I ask the question again, should all women be believed even if there is no evidence?????

Crystal Magnum

One politician who said women should be believed before an investigation is getting a taste of his own medicine. His name is Joe Biden, and he is running for president.  One of the most outspoken women of the “me too” movement Asia Argento was accused of sexually assaulting her 17-year-old co-star, she reached a deal with his lawyers to pay him $380,000.00.

Trisha Meili

How is it that women can get away with this but men aren’t given the same “pass”?   teenage boys regardless of race being accused of something they did not do, a lot of people failed to see that the common denominator in both cases were women. In this me-too era, this should have made headline news, we are becoming such an unfair society, no one wants to talk about what men face.

Joe Biden

I like to share an interesting statistic, this blew my mind when I saw it,  if I mention the word RAPE, most people will automatically think women right ???? but then if you factor in what goes on in the prison system,  and there are more men in jail than women, then you begin to think ?? is it true that most rape victims are women???  No one cares about people in jail though which are mostly men but I’m sure someone somewhere will say they deserved it if this is really the case

  • There are more homeless men than women
  • Men pay over 70% of income taxes yet most programs in social services are for women
  • over 60% of the homeless are men
  • Men get longer sentences for the same crime
  • Over 40% of men are domestic abuse victims

These are just a few of the statistics I found doing my research,  untold stories!!
