it is so wonderful to see all this, it is a great time to be alive and witness all this, the outpouring of love, caring, and support. Protesting in every sate. This whole thing has become international because of social media. People are almost unanimous about voicing concerns and frustrations. Looting is still going on, People expressing their anger, the name George Floyd is now everywhere, it is now a household name, never mind that most people did not know who he was before all this, In his death, it is almost as if he is enjoying a rock star status. All this was almost instantaneous, sympathy from the masses. Everywhere you go it is Black lives matter. We have white guilt in full swing, you know the part of white people who are forced to pretend to care when they shouldn’t even have to pretend?, and yes that is what it is, pretense. VERY strange how no one cared about what happened to black people before now. Black people have been in America for a long time and were dying before this. All of a sudden we have this great outpour of concern. We are told it is frustration about injustice and inequality. Also strange how all these things were going on before, sometimes, simultaneously. Strangely enough, some have blamed Trump already, ( the useful idiot who they can blame for anything that goes wrong ). Funny thing, these things happen, then we protested, then the money starts pouring in, then everything dies down till it happens again. Oh, who can forget the celebrities who are rightfully outraged by what is happening, or what their publicists have told them you know the ones who know what to say and how to say it just to add the sensationalism going on. Call me any name you want, in fact, I welcome it, but no one is crying about the hypocrisy that we see. Suddenly everyone is so concerned about black people, If you were to ask me, Protestors aren’t really doing it for George Floyd or the injustice, or inequality, or the killing of unarmed black men. It is really about virtue signaling, and the feeling of importance, some are doing it so they can get free “stuff”, some a chance to turn up for just that sake, but believe me it has nothing to do with George Floyd and how he died, some time to come I’m sure they can safely say they did “something”.
I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt, with one question, where is the protest for David Dorn.? David Dorn was a retired Police officer, a captain who was shot after responding to a pawnshop alarm. He was an officer for 38 years. David Dorn was 77 years old, oh he was shot by a black man. Where is the protest for him.??? Black lives matter but only to everyone else but black people. Back to our celebrities, they always know when to weigh in don’t they? they know when to throw money around. They know how to express their fake outrage at people they would never meet or know or even care about, then they come to protests with bodyguards and return to their gated communities to feel safe. BLACK ON BLACK CRIME IS just swept under the rug. We can kill each other all day long.
Again it is almost as if this is about something else. If all this was fair then someone tells me what happened here. Oh before I mention that, let us not forget about the COVID 19 which is now killing black people more than any other race, I have to ask, where are the protests for that, Hello??? celebrities???? Amazing how the narrative jumps around !!!
Back to the story, a white woman by the name of Justine Damond was shot by a black police officer in the same city in Minneapolis after she called the Police because she saw a woman being assaulted. Mind you this happened right after Philando Castile a black man who was fatally shot by a white Police officer. If this was really about Police Brutality, then there should have been a protest against the police. Although the officer was found guilty and sentenced to 12 years in prison. No one did anything, no protests, nothing!
No one deserves to die, especially by some else’s negligence, but if BLACK lives matter, it should matter ALL the time not sometimes . and if we are talking about Police Brutality we should talk about it in terms of ALL lives, ALL the time. Did anyone notice, the word Brutality doesn’t have a race attached to it ???
