The title of this is, who do you think the deporter in Chief is ???? well, it was none other than President Barack Obama. Many people might have thought it was President Donald Trump but nope it is actually Mr. Obama. This is a nickname that was given to him by a few immigrants rights groups. The funny thing is that not even the racist president, who hates immigrants was given this nickname. In Obama’s first years in office he deported more than any president, to know how this happened we need to look at history In 1986, under the REPUBLICAN president, Ronald Reagan, there was a new immigration law put in place called the Immigration reform and control ACT. (note I said, republican president) . Basically what this law said is that individuals might be forgiven and can apply for a pathway to citizenship. It was all nice and well until another immigration bill was passed this time in 1996. Who was president in 1996? (I think it was Bill Clinton, I could be wrong, the irony) In this Bill, people were deported without a hearing, and you think that was enough, well after one has been deported, you cannot re-enter cause you committed a felony, then came George W Bush, who created The Department of Homeland security,
To be fair to Obama, he used executive privileges to create something called DACA (Deferred Action for childhood arrivals) This worked to an extent, but it wasn’t permanent, he could have used executive privileges to make it permanent but he didn’t, so we might say that is still too little too late. People like to talk about President Trump’s wall like that idea originated from him, let us go to 2005, the secure fence act, which most democrats voted for including Senator Hillary Clinton, and Senator Barack Obama. Today Trump is looked as crazy for even suggesting something they the Democrats have already done. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the Obama government deported a record 3 million people, in a short span, 1.7 million of them had no criminal record. The question will be why were they deported? Even liberal news sources like ABC News, confirmed that Obama deported more people than any other president, the most interesting part of it is he deported more people in his first term that future president Trump in his first term.
Does anyone remember the initial pictures on TV about children being locked up in cages? Those pictures came from the immigration detention center in McAllen Texas. Jeh Charles Johnson had to answer for those photo’s after it was found out that those pictures actually came from the Obama Administration, Johnson said the facility was supposed to be temporary and children were only supposed to be kept there for 72 hours, why would the secretary need to explain if it wasn’t true?
To finish this off, does anyone remember Trump’s immigration ban??? The one in 2017 where there was a protest against Trump for being heartless. it seems the Trump administration has always been protested for one thing or the other. According to “them” Trump had an immigration ban on 7 Muslim countries, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Syria. The sad truth of this is that Trump did not pick these countries, Obama did, another fun fact, when the Syrian crises started, 27 state governors issued an order saying they didn’t want Syrian refugees in their state. Chuck Schumer almost in tears saying how “unamerican” it was for Trump to do that, but we need to be asking, where were those tears before Trump. Another fun fact Obama stopped all immigration processes from Iraq for 6 months, for no reason at all, when he was asked, he said security… “let that sink in”.
So at the end of it all, we now know who the deporter in chief is, and it is not President Trump, to put things into perspective, President Obama has separated more families than Trump, just by deporting so many people. Coming back to the wall issue, Trump wanted to build a wall. and that wall was just an immigration issue as any. All these hypocrites supported a wall back in 2005-06, including Senator Hillary Clinton(future secretary of state in the Obama administration) and Senator Barack Obama (first black president). In 2006 Senate Democrats joined 54 Republicans to pass a bill allowing construction of a border fence. Barack Obama said the bill ” badly needed funding for better fences”, he further went on to say increased security and fence should help stem some of the tides of illegal immigration”. he also said that a fence would not be enough to solve all of America’s Immigration issues.” Now the list of Democrats who now criticize president Trump but voted for the wall, are, Joe Biden, Charles E Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, oh poor Trump he is just implementing what was already in place. Today these same Democrats who voted for this wall, have refused to fund it under president Trump because they hate him??
When Trump was asked to continue the DACA program, he said wouldn’t do DACA without a wall, mind you these were not original ideas. If you asked me the best way to roll through politics is to become well informed, if we were informed of this we would ask Joe Biden why he voted for a wall that he is against now, we would ask Obama why he deported so many people and also locked up children in cages, we would ask Charles Schumer and Dianne Feinstein and Hillary Clinton why they voted for a wall then suddenly changed their minds because they hate the person implementing it. Finally, WE WOULD ASK THEM IF WE CAN TRUST THEM IN FUTURE “PROMISES”, Immigration is a complex issue, you have to know who is coming in, I think it is totally unfair to blame Trump for the immigration issues that once upon a time, they supported. Oh before I leave, did you know that Obama signed more funding to fund the US – Mexico Border wall, this particular one I’m reading it says he increased spending by $600 million and the money was supposed to be allocated as follows,
1000 New Border Patrol Agents
250 immigration and customs enforcement agents
250 customs and border protection officer
Arent Protestors complaining about ICE and Border Patrol agents yet, and yet, they somehow conveniently forgot how it all started ???
